Through the ongoing support and gracious generosity of our major partners the Estée Lauder Companies Global Illumination campaign continues to link countries around the world by focusing attention on the impact that breast cancer has on our communities.

Estée Lauder Companies
In 2000, Estee Lauder Companies in a mission to put a spotlight on breast cancer awareness, initiated the Global Illumination campaign. Now every October around the world iconic buildings, monuments and landmarks are illuminated in a blaze of pink light.

In 2009 Global Illumination will celebrate its 10th anniversary and over 200 landmarks and monuments around the world, including the Sydney Opera House and Federation Square in Melbourne, will light up pink to mark this significant milestone.

EnergyAustralia
Sponsorship support will enable significant research to be undertaken into the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer.

Mount Franklin
Australian women are by far the largest consumers of Mount Franklin spring water and women are also those most affected by breast cancer – a staggering 13,500 are diagnosed in Australia each year. By utilising our distribution, brand and customer networks, Mount Franklin can help community and businesses alike raise awareness and ultimately funds for the NBCF to continue essential breast cancer research.

Margan Family Wines and Restaurant
The family owned boutique Hunter Valley wine producer has chosen to be involved in supporting the NBCF because breast cancer is the most common cause of cancer death in Australian women and, as such, affects many thousands of families each year. Margan is proud to be involved with the NBCF as they work to fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer, which will ultimately benefit many Australian women, men and their families.

The Videoplus Group
We are humbled and proud to be involved in such an important cause. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer by the age of 85 and one in three people will be diagnosed with cancer in general. This disease holds captive the lives of so many, directly and indirectly. There is a certain duty that prevails to fight for the prevention and the cure. We strongly urge other corporations and individuals to join our fight for life...

Chocolatier
Chocolatier Australia, a family owned and operated Australian company, is proud to continue our association with the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Global Illumination campaign. As we celebrate 10 years of Global Illumination we acknowledge the tremendous work that has been done to date in breast cancer research and also the work still to be done. We believe research holds the key to unlocking those many remaining secrets surrounding breast cancer and we join with the National Breast Cancer Foundation in their mission to find a cure for breast cancer.

Audi

Audi Australia is once again proud to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Global Illumination initiative. In celebrating ten years of Global Illumination we reflect on the many achievements to date in the field of breast cancer research - achievements made possible by raising funds through events such as Global Illumination. We also realise that we still have far to travel on this road and encourage all Australians to support the NBCF as it is through research that we will ultimately find the cure for breast cancer.

Roses Only

Roses Only has a long history of supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation and we are proud of what has been achieved so far in the field of breast cancer research. Breast cancer affects the lives of not just women but the people around them – their families, their friends, their colleagues. We hope that the support of Roses Only and fellow NBCF partners will encourage others to participate as well. So as we celebrate this year’s Global Illumination campaign we can look forward to the future where a cure is imminent – the light at the end of the tunnel is hopefully pink.

Burleigh Brewing

Burleigh Brewing is thrilled to once again support the National Breast Cancer Foundation's Global Illumination campaign. This year’s events promise to be lively, fun-filled occasions – a theme into which Burleigh Brewing slots comfortably!

Ten years of Global Illumination have seen some phenomenal achievements in the field of breast cancer research. We recognise that much more remains to be done. Having had our own fair share of ‘very close encounters’ with breast cancer, the entire team at Burleigh Brewing sees the Global Illumination Campaign as a great way for us to support the ongoing research efforts aimed at further unlocking the mysteries of this disease.

Crystal Bay Prawns

Crystal Bay Prawns are proud to support the 10th anniversary of the Global Illumination initiative.

By supplying the superior quality of Crystal Bay Prawns to Global Illumination events around Australia we hope to contribute to many more funds being raised for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).

Through this support we hope the NBCF continues to fund innovative research in the field of breast cancer research and prevention. We are confident that it is through research that we will find the keys to unlock those remaining secrets around breast cancer.
